The annual OMSD District Spelling Bee is held each year with students from across the district competing against one another to crown one district champion.  Students master vocabulary, spelling, and word usage while spelling in front of peers, family members, and judges.  Top spellers advance to the county-level competition, with those individuals moving on to the state competition.
