STEAM Symposium

Each year, students from across the district compete in a wide range of events at the annual OMSD STEAM Symposium.  In alignment with ‘STEAM’, students have an opportunity to engage in competitions such as: Science Showcase, Drone Derby, Robot Rally, Crazy Contraption, Awesome Arts, Powerful Poetry, and Math Mania. 

These events not only serve to promote awareness of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, but students blend academic and creative disciplines to showcase their learning through hands-on projects and competitions.  The STEAM Symposium encourages students to think critically, solve problems creatively, collaborate, and apply knowledge in real-world contexts.
