Dual Language Immersion (DLI)
The DLI program offers students the opportunity to learn Spanish and English or Mandarin and English in a language immersion environment. Students who participate in the Dual Language Immersion program from Kinder through 8th grade become biliterate and develop an appreciation of other cultures through an embedded multicultural curriculum. The program prepares students with the skills needed to compete in a global society. Central Language Academy and Euclid Elementary School offer a 90:10 Spanish and English Dual Immersion program with the ability to take Mandarin in upper elementary if a student attains proficiency in English and Spanish, and Montera Elementary School offers a 50:50 Mandarin and English Dual Immersion program.
