General Information
Pre-Employment Testing:
Testing is required in order to submit an application with OMSD-Edjoin.
All applicants, upon reviewing the required test(s) and documentation for the job posting, must upload and submit to Edjoin: Diploma, certificate(s), or transcript - degree. This will meet the initial screening process. Otherwise, the application will be incomplete and will not be accepted for the job posting.
Testing Information
In Person and/or Remote Testing:
Thank you for your interest in taking one or more of the OMSD Tests or Exams. Please read the entire pre-employment and supplemental informative page before clicking on the 'Schedule a Test' icon to request your test(s). Testing appointments and seating are first come, first served, with the priority given to current Edjoin applicant supplemental testing. It is recommended to test before a posting occurs in respect of the timeframe and availability.
Supplemental Testing
Post-testing is required in order to be considered for an interview.
For current OMSD contracted employees, all pre-employment and supplemental tests may also be taken in advance of job postings. Please review the 'Classified Testing Key' information located on the right-hand column to see which supplemental test(s) is needed per job title. If you choose to complete your test(s) in-house, please have access to the email you indicated in your request for login testing purposes.

OMSD employees may request to take Supplemental test(s) remotely or in person. All previously taken OMSD test or exams, are permanent records from the test date. The Supplemental test(s) include:
Basic Excel, Basic Word, Customer Service, Alphabetical Filing, Basic Math, Proofreading, Applying Policies, among others.

- CBEST or Basic Skills Equivalency
- Valid Teaching or Credential or Emergency Permit (OMSD will assist with first time applicants or renewals)
