Attended Mariposa Elementary School from kindergarten through 6th grade. In his current position as Executive Director of the Child Welfare, Attendance and Records Department/Human Resources at OMSD, Hector’s responsibilities are multi-faceted. During the last 22 years with OMSD, Hector has served tirelessly as an educator, leader, parent, friend, and advocate for students, families, and the community. As a proud father of 4 boys, Hector commits himself to excellence to serve as a role model not only for them, but for all of the students across the district. For his dedication to OMSD, Hector Macias is a “model of excellence” for OMSD’s students, schools, and community.
