El Camino AVID Elementary is a Preschool-6th grade school.  AVID stands for Advancement via Individual Determination. Through AVID, we teach students the skills they need to be successful students.  The academic areas of focus for our Preschool-6th grade students include developing student success skills, such as note taking, effective communication, critical thinking, and study skills in combination with using organizational skills and cultivating a plan for college and career.
