Mrs. Arellano-Rodriguez

On behalf of the entire staff, welcome back to the new school year! I am the proud principal of Vineyard STEM Magnet School. I am honored to help lead a school with a rich tradition of high-caliber instruction and community partnerships. I am committed to working collaboratively with families, community members, teachers, and staff to ensure students are equipped to be college and career-ready. I will work diligently to continue the legacy of success that has been established by Vineyard STEM by building strong positive relationships with parents, students, and community members.

At Vineyard STEM Magnet School, we serve a diverse population of over 600 students ranging from TK  through 8th grade. Our staff is dedicated to the success of each child. They work tirelessly in strengthening their craft and pedagogy in order to provide rigorous instruction. We will continue to develop our STEM instruction that integrates science, technology, engineering, and math. Students are offered STEM learning opportunities that are a part of Vineyard STEM’s instructional program. Opportunities include but are not limited to, hands-on engaging lessons, STEM learning projects, academic competitions, and class rotations to our science lab and Maker Space. We are particularly proud of our accomplishments in the annual MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement) competitions held at the University of California, Riverside. Our staff places emphasis on providing rigorous instruction in all content areas so that our Vineyard Scholars are successful in higher education and in the workplace.

At Vineyard STEM, we are committed to providing a safe and nurturing school environment for every student and strive in providing an inclusive school culture. Our top priority is collaborating with families to ensure that every child receives the support, instruction, and opportunities that they need to be successful at Vineyard STEM. We encourage you to take an active role in your child’s education. You will find that we provide all our families with opportunities to be actively involved in the school experience with their children. Whether you join our Parent Teacher Association, school committees and councils, or our volunteer program, there is a place for you here at Vineyard STEM.

As principal of Vineyard STEM, my job is to be of service to our community and I am here to support you. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. We are looking forward to a great school year!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Arellano-Rodriguez
