Dear OMSD Online Academy students and families,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!  

It is with great honor and excitement that I introduce myself as the Principal of the OMSD Online Academy. In my 16 years of educational experience within the Ontario-Montclair School District, I have supported students in Preschool through 6th grade in the role of Classroom Teacher, GATE Classroom Teacher, Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal and now Principal. I am looking forward to supporting our students, families, and the OMSD Online Academy Staff as we embark on a new school year.  I look forward to collaborating with each of you as we work collectively to ensure that our students are successful in our school and beyond. 

I look forward to working as an OMSD Online Academy community to support the academic and social-emotional growth of your child. Our school staff is committed to providing your children with a high quality education through a digital format.  We are committed to supporting our students in reaching their full potential and discovering their talents.  Our goals are to ensure every student feels a sense of belonging and will learn the skills needed to grow academically, socially, and emotionally to succeed as 21st Century learners.  We have many fun and exciting events planned for the 2024-2025 school year and we look forward to growing with you.

As an educational partner, you are essential to the success of our OMSD Online Academy and the success of our students.  We are committed to keeping in constant contact with you.  Our primary communication will be via Parent Square.  There will be training on how to use Parent Square prior to the start of school.  I encourage you to check for updates frequently.  As a parent partner, please ensure your child attends class daily and fully participates in order to prepare them for their bright future ahead.
