OUR MISSION 

Lincoln Elementary School, Home of the Leopards, is dedicated to promoting life-long learning through a collaborative partnership among students, parents, and staff to benefit the academic success and character development of all.  Opportunities are provided to encourage and develop a creative learning environment where diversity is celebrated and all strive to achieve their full potential. 

WHO ARE WE, AND WHAT DO WE DO?

We are excited to share with you the enriching and inclusive environment that defines Lincoln Elementary School. Our school is a vibrant community where students with diverse needs come together to learn and grow, supported by a dedicated team of professionals.

With approximately 550 students enrolled in both general education and extensive support needs programs, spanning Preschool through 6th grade, we pride ourselves on our ability to meet every child’s unique needs. Our dedicated staff employs a variety of instructional strategies, including Gradual Release and Write from the Beginning, to ensure that each student receives the support they need to succeed both academically and socially.

Our education specialists are well-versed in a range of methods and tools such as Touch Math, Handwriting Without Tears, PECS, TEACCH, and the Unique Learning System. They work collaboratively with our Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists, Adapted Physical Education Specialists, and Vision Specialists to provide a comprehensive and well-rounded educational experience for all our students.

Beyond their academic pursuits, our students have the opportunity to engage in a diverse array of extracurricular activities. These include Art, Music, Cooking, Crafting, Sports, Chess, Multi-Cultural Dance, Robotics, Sign Language, Parent Workshops, and Pen Pals. Our Extended Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) offers additional enrichment and fun, enhancing our students’ overall school experience.

At Lincoln, we believe in fostering an inclusive and caring environment where general education and special education students interact and learn together. This culture of understanding, respect, and teamwork is what sets Lincoln apart and helps our Lincoln Leopards shine brightly each day.
