Dear Mariposa Families, 

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! It is my honor to begin my fourth year as Principal of Mariposa Elementary. I look forward to working with each of you as we work collectively to ensure that our students are successful at Mariposa and beyond. 

I’m excited to continue our Leader in Me journey and look forward to the success that this will bring to each of our students. At Mariposa, we remain committed to supporting our students to achieve their full potential. Through our focus on Leadership, our students will continue to grow academically and acquire the social-emotional skills they will need to be successful. 

As a parent, you are a valued partner, and we are committed to keeping in constant contact with you. Our primary communication with you will be via Parent Square.  I encourage you to use the Parent Square application every day.  In Parent Square, you will be able to communicate with your child’s teacher as well as receive important classroom and school announcements.

I hope to see you at my “Coffee with the Principal'' and other school-wide events. I welcome your partnership, and please know that I have an open-door policy, and I welcome your visits, input, and involvement.
