A proud alumnus of Mariposa Elementary School and Imperial Jr.High School in the Ontario-Montclair School District. Mr. Martin currently teaches economics at Montclair High School and follows his motto of, “students don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” Living his motto, Mr. Martin is a co-founder of Miles for Montclair, which has raised tens of thousands of dollars for needy families and scholarships for students in the Ontario-Montclair community. Mr. Martin defines excellence as, “living up to your ultimate potential” and he lives it by producing films with substance. Recently, one of his films received much acclaim and won several awards. He is inspired by people of all walks of life and is motivated in living for today, which drives him to live life to the fullest. For these reasons, the Ontario-Montclair School District recognizes and celebrates Mr. Fabian Martin as a 2014-2015 Model of Excellence. His commitment to service and excellence is certain to motivate and inspire current and future generations of OMSD students, educators, parents, and community members.
