Mental Health and Counseling Services

  • Pupil Mental Health Services Available on Campus or in the Community (E.C. section 49428 AND 49429.5)

    School Counselors, Outreach Consultants, Clinical Therapists, Intervention Specialists, Nurses, and/or School Psychologists are available to provide counseling, mental health, crisis response, case management, and other mental health services at each campus in the district as needed. Students, parents, or guardians may initiate access to these mental health services by contacting the school Outreach Consultant, Principal, Teacher, the school office, or the Health & Wellness Services Department.

    Utilizing mental health professionals, the Mental Health and Counseling Services program focuses on assisting students and families to achieve psychological, social, and emotional well-being, allowing them to function at their full potential. In collaboration with school staff, needs are identified and individuals are linked to appropriate services and support.

    For additional assistance, please call the San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) at (888) 743-1478 or 711 for TTY Users (24 hours per day/7 days per week). If these resources are not available, go to your nearest hospital or call 911.
